A member of the Baby Boomer generation, Michael Cornell grew up during the formative years of rock and roll.
From Elvis to the doo-wop hits of the 50s to the new sounds from the Motown artists including the Temptations and the Four Tops as well as the high energy hits brought to America's teens by the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, and the British invasion, and beyond.
All of these influences played a part in developing Michael's love for music in diverse genres which has stayed with him from those early years to today, and which continue to remain a major influence on his music.

​Michael's experiences in life and in music performance continue to provide a strong foundation for his songwriting and music production skills.
A hopeless romantic, Michael enjoys love songs. Most of those he has written were inspired by the love of his life, Rosie. The couple was married for 51 years until Rosie's passing on Valentine's Day of 2024.

Today he lives with his little Biewer Terrier, Tommy, and spends time writing and producing new songs and covers of some of his favorite songs from his younger years while exploring the new possibilities of AI in music.
